Devin Says Santa

Devin says Santa for Mommy. Make sure to click on the photo to enlarge it before you play the video. Also, be sure to have your volume up so that you can hear him too. It's really cute.

Santa Came To Town

Devin had fun opening his presents. He still hasn't quit figured it out yet, so Grandma Nancy had to lend a hand.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

Here's a partial view of our local Sierra Mountains. This is our view from our backyard. We love when the snow is on the mountains, they're so beautiful and majestic.

Dana's Christmas Came A Little Early

Dana got her Christmas early since she is spending her vacation with her Father. We miss her, but know she is having a good time.

Devin's Date With Santa

Devin went and met Santa and really liked his animatronic reindeers. We were afraid he might cry, but was a total ham instead.

Devin Makes A Doctor Visit

Devin had his 2 year checkup yesterday. He is 30.6 pounds and is 36 inches tall. He didn't have to get any shots so he was real happy about his visit. He's growing like a weed and mimicking everything we say.

Devin Learns His Colors

Devin and I were having fun in the kitchen going over his colors. Peepoo is purple and aloo is yellow, Gween is green and blue is blue. He can also say boun is brown. Just gotta love how they speak at this age, its soooooo cute.

Devin Turns Two

Well, our little boy turned 2 on December 7th. We're just blown away at how fast the time has gone. He puts a smile on our faces everyday. He truly has been a blessing from God to us all.

Grandpa John's Thanksgiving Visit

Grandpa John came for Thanksgiving and posed for a photo with Devin. Some how in all the excitement, none of us took any Thanksgiving photos. Oh well, at least we got this cute photo taken.

Happy Birthday Grandma

We celebrated Grandma Nancy's 68th birthday on the 14th. Was that cheesecake good. Yum Yum.

A Trip To Hume Lake And Kings Canyon

We took a trip to Hume Lake and Kings Canyon this past weekend. It was beautiful. All the fall colors were out and the air was brisk. It was the first time David and the family had been up there. I was the old pro, but it had been about 25 years or so since I had been there. The lake is a little low, but still seems the same. What a good time we had. It's definitely on our list of places to go when the weather warms up again.

A Family That Poses Together...Sticks Together

Well, we had to take some family shots of course. Matthew brought his girlfriend Cassie along with us. We had a wonderful time.

Devin And The Giant Tree

Devin struck a pose for us in the notch of this Redwood.

The Cub Following Mama Bear

We had alot of fun exploring Kings Canyon. Devin was wiped out when we got home.

The Deer Came Out To Play

A perfect photo op. Two deer just happened to be walking along the road, so we had to snap some pictures of it.

A Beautiful View

The view from the mountains was breath taking. It really looks like fall up there.

All Dressed Up And Ready To Go

Devin was excited about getting into his costume. It didn't take long for him to catch on to going from door to door for candy.

My Babies Hand In Hand

Big sister had fun showing Devin the ropes. It was really cute to see them holding hands. Devin got so excited, he just walked right into peoples houses. Next year will even be more of a blast.

Happy Halloween

Here's the whole gang. Matthew's girlfriend Cassie joined us, although they took off and did their own thing. It's not "cool" to hang around the parents you know.

Devin In Daddy's Hat

Devin has a fascination with Daddy's hats. He grabbed this one and put it on backwards. What a cutie pie.

Shipwreck's First Shaving Accident

Devin got ahold of Dana's razor and decided to try and shave like Daddy. Hopefully he'll hone his skills when he gets older or he'll end up with a lot of toilet paper stuck to his face.

Madison Baxter's Dedication

Well, the picture is a little grainy, but we feel blessed we were able to go to little Maddie's dedication. The Baxter family is leaving for Indiana today, we love them and will miss them.

Rock Star Photo Op

Devin got to pose with Uncle Gary in their rock star glasses. Great smiles, can anyone say "Cheese"?

Breakfast With Grandpa Tom

Devin loves sitting on Grandpa Tom's lap and sharing breakfast or any other meal for that fact. Devin will mooch off of everyone, he doesn't discriminate that's for sure.

Fun At The Pumpkin Patch

Devin went straight for the pumpkins. Of course he tried to pick one that was as big or bigger than him.

Fun At The Pumpkin Patch

We can't say Devin's a ham, but we can say he's a real turkey. He had fun in a corn kernel sand box. David and Matthew kept tossing the kernels at him. I hope the other poor kid in the photo didn't get hit by their horse playing.

Fun At The Pumpkin Patch

We got to take an old fashioned hay ride through the corn field. It was fun, Devin saw horses at a nearby farm and wanted to jump off and go visit them. He did stop to strike a pose first as Peter Cottontail.

Fun At The Pumpkin Patch

Devin chased down a bunny in the first picture. He finally got it cornered and laid his head down on it. Devin had a blast in the petting zoo. The goat tried to buck him, luckily it didn't have any horns.

DJ Sweet N Low

Matthew had to get his pimp on while we were crusin' the Fresno Mall. I think he should wear that hat all the time.

Fun At Target

When we are out somewhere and see something cute, we can't resist having Devin try it on. Our dog has a bumble bee outfit for Halloween and this would have been a perfect match. Unfortunately we already got Devin's costume. Oh well, maybe next year.

Havin' Fun At The Park

It was a beautiful day and we couldn't resist taking Devin to the park for some fun. It's hard for us to believe how fast he has grown up and can get on and go down all by himself.

Lend Me Your Ears....

David and I had a chance to be chaperons on Dana's field trip to a Civil War reenactment in Fresno. It was fun to go, we got there late and missed some of the action. The girls got to meet "Honest Abe". Sadly, it is the last year they're going to do it because of funding.  Boy those canons were sure loud.

Oh What Memories

Today  our Church had a car show and someone there had a 1963 Ford Falcon. It was the same color and everything as the one my Grandma Bea owned. Man did it bring back some memories . I wish I could have gotten hers when she passed away. I would have appreciated more than the junkman that got it.

Grandpa John's Visit

Grandpa John came to visit us and got in a photo op with Grandma Nancy, Devin and Grandpa Tom. We had a great time, just wish it could have lasted longer. Boy how time flies.

Tulare County Fair

Devin wasn't too sure about the merry go round until he was on it for a few minutes. Dana was trying to get Dad's attention to no avail. We had a good time, spent a fortune on food and didn't get much. Devin got to see his first "moo moo", "oink oink", "baa baa" and "chick chick" up close. He was really excitited.

Farmer In The Dell

Devin found a tractor he liked at the fair. I think he was waiting for it to start moving on it's own. I don't think his legs quite reached the peddles.

Smokey The Bear

We got to meet Smokey The Bear at the fair. Devin wasn't as excited as Mama. Maybe in a couple of years he'll come around.

Striking A Pose With Big Brother

Devin had fun on the fire truck with Matthew.

Future Firefighter

Dana and Devin were having fun on the firetruck at the fair.

Costco Here We Come

Devin likes shopping at Costco just as much as Mama, especially when there is free samples to be had.

Halloween Sneak Peek

We had Devin try on his halloween costume inside of Costco. It's cute and was only $10.00. What a bargain. Can't wait for the big night.
