Well, it only took 2 years, but we finally got our pool safety fence installed. It came at the perfect time since Tinkie is all over the place. We lost our beloved dog Daisy who fell in the pool and drowned, we don't want that to ever happen again. We are very pleased with it. A good thing is that we can take it down in a matter of minutes if we want or need to and we should get a discount on our homeowners insurance. :)
Well the time had come to cut Devin's hair. It was a sad moment for Mommy, but needed to be done. I have a baggie with his locks in it. He looks like such a little man now.
Grandma & Grandpa got me a cozy coupe. It only took Devin a few seconds to figure out how to get in and out of the car. He loves it. He even likes to get in and out the "Dukes of Hazzard" way, you know, through the window.
Well, it has started to warm up here, so Sissy and Daddy took Devin for a swim with his new life vest. He had fun, but had to take him out when he started to turn blue from being cold. The pool isn't quit that warm yet.
Well, the Humming Birds are in full swing. We just added two more feeders, totaling seven now. It is insane when they all come to feed. We get a lot of enjoyment out of watching them.
Recently we had the opportunity to see a piece of history. There was a B-17 bomber, also known as a Flying Fortress that was on display here at our municipal airport. It was built in 1945. This one didn't see any action in WWII, but plenty of them just like her did. Our family is very patriotic and are grateful to the men and women who have served and do serve our country. We took the kids and Grandpa Tom along while Grandma watched Devin at home.
