Gimme A Break

Devin had a couple of busy days, so he decided just to lay down on the kitchen floor with Sully and take a break. He went up and took a nap shortly after the picture was taken and got reenergized. Thank the Lord for naptime. :)

A Time For Blooms

Well,  it only took two years of waiting, but one of our three Birds of Paradise finally got blooms on it. We hope the other two will produce also, but we'll have to keep waiting for that time to come.

We weren't sure if our Trumpet Vine was going to produce any flowers this year, but lo and behold, they started popping up all over. They sure are pretty and the hummingbirds like them too.
